Betty Ruhe has worked with the Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene and Upper Shore Aging, as a personal care provider for the state, caring for the needs of the aging. She is so passionate about wellness, that she is currently pursuing her license as a Hearing Aid Dispenser, so that she can help more people hear well.
Mrs. Ruhe previously held a seat on the Board of Directors for Caroline County Adult Medical Day Care, working passionately to ensure patients health needs. She holds CPR and AED Certification with the American Heart Association & a First Aid Certification with the American Red Cross.
Working with the USDA Rural Development Program, she was able to put hundreds of new home owners into affordable housing in our local communities. Mrs. Ruhe has received letters of recommendation for working to improve and help her community from Senator, Richard F. Colburn, USDA Rural Development, & Henry Corbin of Corbin Real Estate.
Mrs. Ruhe has worked with Special Olympics as coach and in doing so, helped to bring her unified softball team to the state finals. When she is not in the office helping our patients, she enjoys spending time with her family as camping, boating & all that our nation’s parks have to offer.
Mrs. Ruhe handles patient care and satisfaction for International Hearing Systems. She is currently in the process of becoming a state licensed Hearing Aid Dispenser in Delaware. She has been proudly serving our local community for over 30 years.
